The brain and

nervous system. |

| Diabetic
Neuropathy: A
complication of Diabetes melitus, in
which the peripheral nerves are affected.
It involves both sensory and motor nerve
fibres, but predominantly the former.
Diabetic neuropathy is primarily due
to metabolic imbalance, and secondarily
to nerve compression. |

(Motor) fibers: carry

to effector organs (eg. muscles). |

The connective
tissue framework that surrounds the
